WORSHIP
Each week we gather as a community to encounter the living God through scripture, prayer, music, and fellowship. At Thoburn, worship is more than an hour on Sunday—it’s a rhythm that shapes our lives.
We offer three different worship experiences on Sunday Mornings. Each is unique in approach, style and format. Each offers an opportunity to respond to God's love. Each brings inspiration and connection. Each invites you to come as you are.
8am
TRADITIONAL
ABBREVIATED
This service is traditional in approach, with hymns sung with a piano. Our early birds gather for a shorter version of worship, lasting around a half an hour.
9am
"SHINE"
MODERN
This worship is lead by our "Shine Praise Band" featuring contemporary Christian praise music. The feel is comfortable yet energetic. Our kids serve us communion and read our scripture for us.
11AM
TRADITIONAL
This worship includes words and rituals that have been utilized by Christians for centuries. We also sing hymns with a pipe organ. Our choir helps us to praise God through music as well.
